In the current state of the galaxy, all eyes are on the sliver of space known as the Belt, as forces of all kinds are claiming their piece of it.
The currently chaotic nature of the Belt has given rise to many new raiders immigrating from the south. These raiders prey on transports, weaker systems, and Surrian luxury crafts.
A shared belief among the bigger forces around the Belt is that the invading raiders must be dealt with before anyone can claim to control this area.
GHRADAVAN
Among all the raiders of the Belt, Ghradavan is by far the most feared and most prolific of them all.
Ghradavan is a Truthuru warrior with deep connections across the galaxy. His eye is deadset on destabilizing the Belt further to strengthen his own grip on the systems of the Belt.
Ghradavan was one of the first raiders to immigrate from the south raiding space, and he has since become a rich and powerful 'king' of the raiders, matching some Surrian bankers in wealth and power, but with a far more ruthless approach to life.
Ghradavan enjoys luxurious company, wild parties, and torturing his enemies and allies alike.
ALLIES
The most significant allies of Ghradavan are Julius and Jaeda, two spacetime lovers deeply in love with each other and their ambitions.
Julius is a Korgen male who calls himself the most connected person in the galaxy, knowing someone on every planet, every station, and every black market. Jaeda was previously a powerful Eulian conduit, but she defected during the 'great fall' when she fell in love with Julius. Her talents and skills have given Julius access to many parts of the galaxy previously out of reach from raiders.
Another powerful and secret ally of Ghradavan is Hjaric, the king of the Tomakki homeworld. Tomakki was a previous lieutenant of Ghradavan, but during a coup, he seized power of his ancestral home, and he maintains a strong connection to Ghradavan and his affairs across the galaxy.
THE SPINE
The Spine is the personal star cruiser of Ghradavan. The ship is capable of traveling to all corners of the galaxy using a powerful Horizon drive at its rear.The front is lined with an array of antennas that give the Spine a very precise readout of all activity in the current system.
The antennas also double as radiators to help dissipate the heat generated by the Horizon drive, which helps the drive charge up and discharge faster, allowing the ship to make a fast getaway, ideal for escaping incoming enemies. However, if the Spine decides to take on the fight, it can launch an array of 50 starfighters to assault the enemy.
The Spine is a unique and custom-built craft, using various components from seized enemy ships.
